With the countdown to Christmas well underway, thoughts are turning to the giving and receiving of gifts.
Energy One UK is a neighbour of Solihull Hospital and supporter of the University Hospitals Birmingham (UHB) Charity, which is the official charity of University Hospitals Birmingham.
To help make the festive season bright, the team at Energy One has given a gift of chocolate treats and selection boxes to the Children’s Outpatients department at Solihull Hospital. The sweet treats will be handed out to patients over the Christmas period as part of the unit’s festivities.
Energy One UK’s Chief Operations Officer, Katie Claridge, and Chief Customer Officer, Karen Sanders, recently delivered the collection of over 50 selection boxes to nurses from the department (pictured).
Energy One Europe CEO, Simon Wheeler, comments: “We are really enjoying supporting UHB Charity in a host of ways and hope our donation of festive treats for the children attending Solihull Hospital over Christmas will help to bring a smile to many faces.”
The donation is part of our ongoing support for UHB Charity. The company is helping the charity to raise funds for a refurbishment of the Children’s Outpatients department at Solihull Hospital.
UHB Charity is an umbrella charity made up of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham Charity, Heartlands Hospital Charity, Good Hope Hospital Charity and Solihull Hospital Charity. It works across its sites to support patients, families and staff by providing ‘added extras’ that are over and above those provided by the NHS.
